• Collect any 1099 forms for additional income or if you worked as an independent contractor.
• Keep track of your travel and housing expenses, including receipts, to potentially qualify for tax deductions.

Happy Spring! What a great time of the year. Feel the weather warming up, those beautiful bright spring flowers, and tree colors. The sun is getting closer to our beautiful earth. I feel like writing a piece after a long grey winter depending on where you are in the world. Spring into summer is like a new beginning and literally a fresh of breath air after being indoors throughout the winter months.
Do not get me wrong! Each holiday season has beautiful moments and times that each one of us adore and cherish.
I know one thing for certain: the warmer weather and spring-feeling overwhelm a lot of folks as we hit the roads, railways, oceans, and airways to travel to places we have been to already or have always wanted to.
I have been blessed to travel throughout the year dozens of times for business and pleasure. And I am in the truest belief that life is so frigging short that we should live for this very moment! We buy a lot of things that we've always wanted. And the novelty wears off as soon as we realize that these are just material stuff. Some would want the latest and greatest tech. Or maybe the new iPhone 20 1 will wait for. Is that the one where they put a neuro-link in your brain so you can screen calls and text people by blinking 101? I think I am good with my outdated iPhone Pro Max 13. The camera is still great v! Rather than accumulating "stuff", I would rather create memories with loved ones and even strangers sometimes.
As our stuff gets old and outdated, we keep buying new hardware and software to keep up with this ever-changing technology needs or better worded "wants"
I ask what lasts forever? Memories and legacies.
Again, don't get me wrong! I like technology and totally understand its multiple purposes. It makes our lives easier and more informative, depending on your source 101. I try to keep the use of Social Media light nowadays. I have been filtered to these travel spots created by today's vloggers and influencers on Facebook and Instagram reels.
When I was a kid, I used to hit the local library to look at travel magazines and books, wishing and dreaming I could go to these places one day. We used to live by this little airport by the trailer park I grew up in and I would go on my BMX bike just to watch the small planes take off wondering where they were going, creating scenarios in my head. I said, "one day I will be in one of those planes!".
Spring is like a new beginning for me. I wanted to create positive moments and memories from travel. Go to all the places you have seen throughout your life in travel magazines, books, and even in movies. The little kid on that BMX bike watching those planes take off and dreaming to be the one going to a beautiful destination is now in those airports around the world, appreciating all these travelers, wondering where everyone is headed, and what pics they will snap for themselves or social media feeds.
Let's cherish the moments creating memories, going to places we've never been, doing things that we've been wanting to do and eating foods out of our normal life, appreciating other cultures. Live for now and do what you have always wished and manifested!
Believe in these special moments and memories and do what you have always wanted and envisioned. Wake up in Athens, Greece, see the coliseum from your hotel room balcony, or maybe have an espresso on the Amalfi coast. Italy Spring is like a season of "Carpe Diem"

How long have you been with Access Healthcare?
I've been with Access since February 2022
How did you find out about Access Healthcare and what made you choose us?
I was working with a lot of travelers and quite a few of them were with Access. They all had amazing things to say about Access and they were great nurses So after doing a little research I chose to be with Access because I love it was created by nurses, the rates were great, and the staffing I spoke to were very informative and pleasant. I felt like I was being seen as a person, not as a number in staffing.
What is the best thing about being a nurse?
As cliche as it sounds, I think the best thing is taking care of people. It's hard sometimes when patients are rude or grouchy, or in my normal type of units: confused & combative. But I got into nursing because I love helping people, I want someone to be a kind and helpful person when I'm sick, so I do it for others. I have been fortunate to train new grads and it is something I've always tried to remind them, treat the patient how you would want yourself or your loved ones to be treated.
What are some locations you have traveled to on assignment?
I started off as a nurse in Jersey, but since becoming a traveler I've worked in hospitals in Philadelphia PA, West Shore/Harrisburg PA, & I'm currently working in Lancaster OH. I've been in Ohio for about a year now. I'm slowly heading West!
When you have a down-time, how do you like to utilize it?
I'm night shift, so I feel like trying to catch up on sleep is a given. I love to read so if the weather isn't good for being outside hiking or being lakeside I've got my nose in a book With longer periods of time off I enjoy going back East to visit my family & friends. Last year, I even was able to make a roadtrip to Kansas to visit my brother & his new family!
