Payroll Specialist – Access Healthcare LLC

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to process weekly payroll for both internal company employees and our healthcare staffing workforce. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing while supporting compliance, recordkeeping, and employee payroll inquiries in a fast-paced staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for internal employees and healthcare staffing professionals
• Review and validate timecards, schedules, and approved hours
• Accurately calculate regular, overtime, and other variable pay components
• Maintain accurate payroll and employee records
• Process payroll changes including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and corrections
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries
• Coordinate with HR, staffing, and finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy
• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliations
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with payroll policies and regulations
• Support continuous improvement of payroll processes

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience
• Experience processing weekly payroll
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Working knowledge of wage and hour laws and payroll best practices
• Experience with hourly and salaried employees
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare staffing or staffing agency payroll experience
• Multi-state payroll experience
• Familiarity with payroll systems and timekeeping platforms
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) a plus
